BUSINESS DESCIPTOR ORIGINS
Forest’secret was born from a government’s initiative to establish a herbal hub in the country through steady and splendid brand promotional campaigns of national herbal-based products. Forest’secret was graced by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah Hj Ahmad Badawi on 5 April 2007.
Forest’secret is developed and managed by Forest’Secret Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia International Franchise Sdn Bhd (MyFranchise), a franchise investment holding company and the investment arm of Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PNS), an agency under the purview of the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development, Malaysia.
Forest’secret has constantly developed and positioned itself as a premium herbal brand which corresponds with the fine quality of the products and services. Forest’secret has an in-house herbalist to advise and is working closely with reputable authority and organisations such as SIRIM, FRIM, Technology Park Malaysia and others to produce the gold standard of herbal technology.
Forest’secret will also serve as a platform for small and medium-scale industries to market their herbal-based products abroad under the “Glokal” entrepreneurship programme. Entrepreneurs and manufacturers would be able to enjoy various benefits under this programme such as business expansion, product development and enhancement and skill development that includes product packaging, labeling and branding.
With its natural rich source from the Malaysia’s oldest rainforest, Forest’secret wishes to educate the public on the nutritional values and health benefits from using local herbal products and to appreciate the natural herbal lifestyle. In turn, the people will enjoy the benefit and advantages of local herbs and will use the products in their daily lives. |
